Abstract

This article is aimed to explore the attribute of patience and softness of The Holy Prophet (S.A.W). The discussion revolves around the question that weather the said attribute of our prophet more to other prophets and to what extent this characteristic was found in his behavior. He was so soft for his companions that he always overlooked their mistakes and errors. Not a single incident has been reported where he took revenge for his own sake. He remained polite for men and women, children and youngs and familiars and strangers. This ethic was a sign of his prophet hood revealed in Torah. A smile on his face always appeared which attract the companions and strangers to him. Thus, this behavioral softness distinguishes him from other prophets. The Muslims must follow him by adopting this attribute specially those who frequently meets with others; teachers, doctors, lawyers, mentors and preachers.
