Rectifications of Āalūsī in the Tafsīr of Bismillah by al-Rāzī A Comparative and Critical Study

Abstract

Qur’ānic Sciences has pivotel role for understanding Islam to the Muslims and non-Muslim especially linking with the history and Sīrah. Tafasir are also part of the Qur’ānic Sciences in Islamic Divine tradition. Rectifications exist in the tafasir of Arabic and non-arabic scholars to present Qur’ānic knowledge to the community members. The article explores comparative rectifications among Āalūsī and al-Rāzī, s tafāsīr in the boundary of Bismillah. The basic questions of research in this topic are: What is the theological stand of al-Rāzī in his tafsīr and why did the Mufassirīn criticize him? What is the standpoint of al-Rāzī regarding the meanings of special Qur’ānic terms and ayāt in his tafsīr and why did the Mufassirīn criticize him? What is the standpoint of al-Rāzī concerning the issues of Fiqh in his tafsīr and why did the Mufassirīn criticize him? Keeping in view the artical consists of an Introduction, rrectifications of Āalūsī, conclusions and indexes.
