Next is the society and then the state. All these are the pillars of this community which starts from the family. And the family is based on the marriage relationship. That is, the husband-and-wife relationship between a man and a woman forms the foundation of a family. When a child is born, someone becomes a father and someone becomes a mother. Someone becomes a grandfather and someone becomes a grandmother. goes, someone becomes an uncle, someone becomes an uncle, someone becomes an aunt. It is as if all these relationships are connected in the form of a marriage when children are born into the world. From which the formation of a family takes place. And in the prophetic teachings, not only the sanctity of these relationships has been ordered. But such rules, regulations and limits have been mentioned, thanks to which a peaceful society and society is established. The main reason for this perfection and rise is the good manners that humans are characterized by good manners are what distinguish human beings from other creatures. Along with this, good morals are the source of human survival and his religious and worldly welfare. In the religion of Islam, there is a lot of emphasis on good manners, because the Muslims gained power and ascendancy in the world through good morals and achieved success in their later life as well. Good morals are not only a means of flourishing in this world but also a guarantee of success in the hereafter. Allah Almighty has declared good conduct as a means of obtaining reward and reward. That is, just as other acts of worship are the cause of reward and reward, in the same way, good morals are also the cause of reward and reward. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that the owner of good morals attains the position of Saim al-Dhar and Qaim al-Lail. Today, it is necessary to practice good morals as well as promote them in the society, so that the Muslim Ummah can regain its lost dignity and honour.
The introduction of Mufti Muhammad Usmani (1936-2022) is mentioned in this dissertation. Islam's philosophy of human rights is different from other religions. Islam teaches us moderation in life. Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ has given such golden teachings regarding every aspect of human life which can create beauty and balance in life. Guarantees. The foundation of human rights in Islam is based on monotheistic thought and thought. Islam considers human rights as a necessity for human dignity and respect, because according to the religious theory, man is the successor of Allah on earth and in this sense is worthy of honor and respect. In the Islamic society, every individual deserves respect and freedom regardless of religion or nationality. Islam has rejected all kinds of gender, race, and class privileges in the provision of human rights. Its position in the Islamic belief system is just like that of the soul in body. According to Sahib Al-Lisaan al-Arab, the word “Khatam” means: “Covering something and encompassing it in such a way that nothing can enter it from the outside."It is an indubitable fact that no prophet will come after Holy Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ). Several verses of the Holy Qur'an, a number of ahadith, the consensus of the Muslim Ummah as well as practices of Muslims bear an irrefutable testimony to this fact. After Him (ﷺ), no new prophet (in any form or perspective) and no breach in the wall of the citadel of prophethood was accepted by the Ummah, by word or deed. From the Battle of Yamama to this day, the Ummah has sacrificed thousands of lives to protect this sacred belief. The finality of prophethood is, indeed, a great blessing of Allah Almighty. Apart from matters settled through revelation, human intellect is free in all other matters. Today, all human beings are free to solve their problems in the light of revelation as well as their wisdom and intellect. In this article, the necessity of prophethood, the negation of any new type of form of prophethood and the affirmation of the belief of the finality of prophethood will be discussed in the light of the Holy Qur'an, a hadith of the Prophet (ﷺ) and the views of Iqbal.
Economy has a lot of importance in human life and no society or ideology can ignore it. Islam has given comprehensive principles to human beings in this chapter. If we study the biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him) from the economic and financial aspect, it is clear that the Prophet (peace be upon him) has given us very comprehensive teachings from both theoretical and practical aspects. From the Prophet's biography, we know that in the case of exclusion from economic and economic activities, not only will it be difficult to fulfil the rights of Allah and the rights of the servants, but also the risk of dispersal of collective life increases. For economic stability, some responsibilities are imposed on the individuals of the society while some responsibilities are imposed on the government of the time. In this regard, it is important for the members of the society to make maximum efforts to keep the wealth safe so that this wealth can be spent as per the need in the future. Moreover, the members of the society should be moderate in spending money on their needs. Apart from this, it is also important to adopt legitimate means to acquire wealth. In order to create economic stability, it is also important that the wages of the labourers are paid immediately after the work is done so that the labourers can easily meet their needs. It is the responsibility of the government of the time not to let any member of the society remain free. It should be mandatory for every individual to learn some skill and work hard to improve their economy. Moreover, hoarding should be strictly prohibited at the time of shortage of anything. In order to meet the needs of the deprived people of society, the government should provide financial support to them from time to time until they are able to earn a living. In the 20th century, the rise in publishing of books led the knowledge and wisdom to the acme of excellence and brought the whole world in harmony. Europe, Africa, Asia and America seemed to walk a long way on the road to prosperity. When knowledge and wisdom became deeply rooted in the society then the progress of commerce and industry also became a constant factor. Although the life of prophet (PBUH) was deeply studied through the ages, but it was again the 20th century that shined brightly in this aspect too. Many Muslims and Non- Muslims scholars also penned down a lot of work on the Seerah of Muhammad (PBUH). As a result of, the refined form of Seerah writing appeared before the world. Seerah writing, like other branches of knowledge, came under the influence of modern age and witnessed many improvements. In this situation, the Muslim scholars, realizing the fragility of the time, prevented this invasion of Christianity with the weapon of speech and writing, and not only did they bind themselves to this growing trend of Christianity, but they also fought it firmly. The scholars of that time certainly deserve praise, for they not only fought the false beliefs of these missionaries and priests in the field of knowledge but also proved the truth and superiority of Islam against them. Maulana Rehmatullah Keranvi and Maulana Sanaullah Amritsari are among those who have done a very high level of work against this invasion of Christianity. These two personalities wrote and spoke in their own way for the rejection and defense of Christianity and Islam, and they also debated with Christian priests. These scholars not only defended Islam through their writings, speeches, and debates but also countered the false beliefs of Christian missionaries and priests through argument and burhan. It proved the biblical distortion with arguments, rejected the false belief in the divinity of Christ, and effectively defended the Prophet Muhammad. The Federal Shariah Court has not only played an important role in Islamizing the laws but also has been a key position of the respected court in interpreting the Islamic laws and making them compatible with the society. The minimum age for a girl to marry in Pakistan is sixteen years. The marriage of a girl below this age is prohibited by law. Scholars in this matter are divided into two classes. One side insists on calling it a purely religious issue while the other side considers it a purely social issue. The decision of the Federal Sharia Court on this case was issued some time ago. This decision has given a new dimension to academic research. In this decision, the honorable court, reasoning from the basic principles of Islamic jurisprudence, has declared the law of prohibition of child marriage prevalent in Pakistan to be in accordance with Sharia. In this paper, the arguments established by the honorable court will be analyzed and an attempt will be made to find out on what grounds the reasoning of the court is based. To what extent is the dimension considered by the court's reasoning correct? Is the argument made by the court logical? Is there mutual uniformity in the reasoning of the court and the conclusion drawn from it? These teachings often include principles such as helping the needy, promoting economic fairness, and striving for peaceful coexistence. In Islam, concepts like "Zakat" (charitable giving) and "Sadaqah" (voluntary charity) encourage Muslims to support those in need and contribute to the well-being of society. The Quran and Hadith also stress the value of honesty, integrity, and compassion in interactions with others. Similarly, other religions have their own teachings that align with these values. For instance, Christianity emphasizes the importance of loving one's neighbor, caring for the marginalized, and seeking justice for all. Buddhism promotes concepts of empathy, non-violence, and detachment from material desires, which can contribute to social harmony. While each religion has its unique teachings, the common thread is the call to create a just, compassionate, and harmonious society, where individuals strive to uplift each other and contribute positively to the world around them. Islam, like other religions, has its unique teachings that differentiate it from other faiths. Some key differences include its beliefs about monotheism (the belief in one God), the role of Muhammad as the final prophet, the importance of the Quran as the holy book, the practice of praying five times a day, fasting during the month of Ramadan, and the concept of zakat (charitable giving). While there are similarities in ethical teachings among various religions, these distinct aspects set Islam apart from others like Christianity and Judaism. Remember, though, that religions are complex and diverse, and there can be variations in beliefs and practices within each one. Islamic social teachings share common themes with other religions in terms of promoting compassion, justice, and ethical behavior. Concepts like caring for the less fortunate, respecting human dignity, and fostering harmony among people are shared across various faiths, including Islam. While there are differences in practices and beliefs, the overarching goal of creating a just and equitable society is a common thread that runs through many religious teachings.
There is no doubt that Islam is a universal constitution; it is a religion that corresponds to the circumstances and requirements of all times, and the phrase includes the commandments of the sphere of life. This may include personal loans to friends and family. This does not include outstanding wages, dowry, inheritance or assets held in trust (other than assets held under a Bare Trust). People think that theses existing inequalities are linked with Islamic Law and its strict principles laid down in verses of Holy Quran and traditions of Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The fact is that inequalities exist in Pakistani society between male and female not because of strict principles of Islamic Law but because of feudal mindset and because of low literacy rate and lack of knowledge. Islamic Law does not create inequalities between male and female persons as it is misunderstood by the majority and also is badly portrayed by the people who portray themselves as true followers of Islamic Law which actually is incorrect. Apart from feudal mindset and low literacy rate, the Government of Pakistan is duty bound under 34 of the Constitution of Pakistan 1973 to create good atmosphere for all and ensure full participation of women in all spheres of life but it is unsuccessful to create a friendly atmosphere for women. Low literacy rate in Pakistan is not because of religion as Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stated that seeking knowledge and education is compulsory for every believer (whether man or woman). It is also emphasized under Constitution of Pakistan 1973 thus it is quite unfair to blame the State of Pakistan and Islamic Law for gender inequalities in Pakistan as both the verses of Holy Quran, traditions of Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Constitution of Pakistan 1973 emphasize on equality before law without discrimination, therefore negative propaganda against Islamic Law and the State of Pakistan should be stopped and the World is required to help the Government of Pakistan to eliminate inequalities and to promote education throughout Pakistan without discrimination as to gender, race, religion, place of birth.
Dr. Sohaib Mukhtar, Malieka Farah Deeba, Ahmad Talha Copyright (c) 2023 AL-IDRAK JOURNAL https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://alidrak.com/ojs3303/index.php/alidrak/article/view/58 Fri, 29 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Inculcation of Islamic Values in Young Children: Contemporary Challenges and Solutions https://alidrak.com/ojs3303/index.php/alidrak/article/view/77
The moral and ethical development of young children holds enduring significance, shaping the foundation of their character and future contributions to society. This research delves into the critical age group of children aged three to five years, where the inculcation of Islamic values plays a central role in nurturing a righteous and virtuous life. Islamic values, encompassing compassion, honesty, empathy and piety are pivotal to the Islamic faith’s ethical framework. Gender sensitivity is maintained, with a 3-point Likert scale questionnaire featuring 65 questions across three sections. A pilot study ensures the questionnaire's reliability, involving vaccinators, doctors, parents, teachers, and others. Validity is confirmed through pilot testing, and reliability is established post-pilot. Data collection includes personal visits, telephonic contacts, and distribution of both hard and soft copy questionnaires. Findings highlight widespread ignorance among respondents regarding Quranic injunctions, guidance in Sirat-e-Tayyaba, and prophetic hadiths related to pandemic prevention. The study exposes misconceptions about concepts such as lockdown, vaccination, quarantine, and social distancing within Islamic tutelage. The chaotic atmosphere during the pandemic, economic downturns, and fear-driven actions are also explored. The conclusion underscores the need for comprehensive awareness campaigns to bridge the gap between Islamic teachings and public understanding. Recommendations propose continuous policy revision, national-level research, and government-led initiatives for awareness, training, and education. Integration of Islamic teachings into the educational curriculum and collaboration with media for disseminating information are suggested measures. The study advocates for embracing Islamic guidance as a comprehensive approach to pandemic management, emphasizing the need for a collective societal shift toward a more informed and prepared future.
Dr. Muhammad Samiullah, Sami Ullah Khan Niazi Copyright (c) 2023 AL-IDRAK JOURNAL https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://alidrak.com/ojs3303/index.php/alidrak/article/view/104 Tue, 02 Jan 2024 00:00:00 +0000 A Comparative Study of Spirituality and Mental Health in spiritual Leaders (Muslim: Gaddi Nasheen, Christian: Fathers) and in adults https://alidrak.com/ojs3303/index.php/alidrak/article/view/111
The present study was focused on the relationship between spirituality and mental health in spiritual leaders and adult population. Societal structures definitely influence human behavior but at the same time there are human beings who change and challenge the existing structures. Shah Waliullah has advanced two important theories of social dynamics. Firstly, his theory of evolution and secondly, his theory of revolution. In his theory of social evolution, he has described four phases through which human civilization has passed, for which he has used the term of irtifaqat. First stage of this social journey refers to a simple nomadic society in which people are able to satisfy their physical needs along with some early forms of social solidarity. Second stage refers to a relatively settled and developed society in which people have been able to manage their affairs of economic life, domestic life and occupational life. Third stage refers to a city-state in which the political organization has become a central feature of society and is responsible for administering the affairs of state. Fourth stage refers to a confederacy or commonwealth of city-states in which different city-states join for peaceful co-existence. This article aims to discuss the thoughts of Shah Waliullah on social dynamics and discusses his theory of evolution. It also discusses all the phases of human civilization in detail, explains its features and characteristics and provides an in-depth analysis of Shah Waliullah’s work on social dynamics and evolution of human society. The article also discusses his theory of social reconstruction, the social pathologies and the strategies that he proposed in his writings.
Shahid Rasheed, Humaira Ahmad Copyright (c) 2023 AL-IDRAK JOURNAL https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://alidrak.com/ojs3303/index.php/alidrak/article/view/122 Sun, 25 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0000
